Our great teachers Mr. Karasoy and Ms. Boparai have offered weekend SAT Prep Classes and
winter camps to provide the students with the best in SAT preparation. Our goal was to have all of our students scoring over 1000 on the SAT. LAUSD announced their most successful high schools in SAT Test. For the first time in 7 years, MSA has entered the top 10 in Math avarages among 160 high schools during the 2007-2008 school year.Congratulations! |

Spring Carnival was a splash, literally. Everyone ate, played games, dunked teachers, and experienced the beats of 96.3 Latino Heat. We also had the priviledge of the US Chivas team handing out goodies. More Pictures

The Awards Ceremony for the Art Contest sponsored by the LA Times and the LA Dept of Water and Power, it was announced that Brenda Castellanos (6th grade)'s entry won 1st place for 6th grade and Davood Betcheri(7th grade) 's entry won 1st place for 7th grade.
They each won a certificate, their framed artwork, and $100 cash prize.
Cash prizes were also given to their sponsoring teachers.

Congratulations to all of the students and teachers who crossed the finish line at the LA Marathon.It was an amazing accomplishment to run through the city of Los Angeles and survive!!!!
